A new mobile app and a partnership with Just for Laughs for Taxi Diamond
Given the many challenges currently facing the taxi industry, Taxi Diamond is working harder than ever to improve the client experience. As Taxi Diamond's communication agency, Prospek was asked to promote the new version of the Taxi Diamond mobile application, developed by TAG taxiTM, a company created through a Prospek initiative.
The strategy was clear: get the word out to Montrealers about the application's new features. With the entire agency contributing to this innovative project, we developed an integrated communication strategy that included media relations, social media, the creation of videos and newsletters, and internal documents to train drivers on the app's new functionalities.
Partnership with the Just for Laughs Festival
As part of the strategy to connect with Montrealers, we set our sights on the Just for Laughs Festival. As the official cab company of the Festival, we sponsored the Hahahaïti evening. In addition, we implemented an initiative to offer festival-goers the chance to take a free breathalyzer test on their way out of the shows and learn about the application in a highly positive way.
The strategy also saw Taxi Diamond collaborate with Quebec comedian Neev to produce a video capsule about the application. With more than 30,000 views, this offbeat, lighthearted video proved to be a resounding success!
From July 13, 2015 (launch) to August 3, 2015, we registered:
- 3,865 downloads of the application, 3.5 more than during the same period in 2014
- 11,733 views of the promotional videos
- 43 media spin-offs
