MPM has been part of Montrealers' lives for almost 80 years. More than just a food shopping destination, these markets are part of our historical heritage, part of our everyday routine. They have become hubs of the community and a place where people meet. Setting the bar for quality and sustainable development, Montreal's authentic and accessible markets are more committed to their values than ever. So MPM directors thought it was time to refresh the brand's image, as well as its communications strategies.
Prospek was proud to be entrusted with the mandate to rethink the visual identity, define an interactive strategy, build the website for shoppers and vendors, and develop a Web app. All of this would lay the groundwork for future communications campaigns to boost notoriety, raise visibility, improve the user experience and promote upcoming activities to celebrate the MPM's 80th anniversary.
A delicious challenge to sink our teeth into! We relished each development phase of the various deliverables involved. Visiting the markets to delve into the branding and communications of these lively spaces, to appreciate the joyful and health benefits that such an experience brings, was an essential (and dynamic) part of the process of elaborating technological and strategic recommendations that would stimulate exchanges between producers and discerning shoppers. Essential and dynamic: qualities that aptly describe our process and our client.

Public markets play an important role in the history and development of Montreal... I am proud that we contributed to the creation of a new graphic image for the markets, one that both reflects the past and looks forward to the future."
