Challenges

To communicate directly with his students, the school’s principal knew exactly what he wanted: a website with an impact that also emphasized the importance of motivation in personal development, as well as scholastic excellence. We had to find an efficient way to reach the kids.

Solutions

The use of motion design allowed us to grab visitor attention as soon as they accessed the site. In a stimulating home page clip, we featured music and sports, because of the attraction potential they hold for students. By integrating the key words from the school’s motto, “Be, Know, Become”, which aptly summarize the school’s educational mission, this animated clip encompasses Georges-Vanier’s core values in mere seconds.

Results

Built around this punchy home page clip, the streamlined architecture of the site provides access, using very few clicks, to all information related to the school and the activities it offers. The site thereby connects to this public school’s overarching mission, which is, according to its principal : “using today’s means to prepare tomorrow’s citizens.”
